Founded in 1983, Bar-Code Computers Ltd is experienced in design and development of software for the Medical Imaging area. We specialize in implementation and use of the Digital Imaging Communication in Medicine, DICOM standard and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise, IHE workflow. Our software is embedded in scanners and workstations of our clients as well as in our DICOM Video products.

The Team

Rami Barta (M.Sc. in Software Engineering) and Efrath Barta (Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics), the two company founders, are the company management.  

Primarily composed of engineers graduated in the Technion, the Israel Institute of Technology, the team of developers develops DICOM Video, leads and directs some groups of its clients and provides consultation. Some of our software engineers have more than 20 years of experience while others have recently graduated thus we integrate experience with freshness in order to provide reliable, adequate and efficient solutions in the medical imaging area.
